I had such a good time in the Forest of Dean on Monday I decided to repeat the experience today
Taking some seed and peanuts to spread below the favoured Yews I sat in the car and awaited results as the dawn came up
Only two Hawfinches, a male and a female seemed to be present this time
For three hours I sat in the car and enjoyed getting very close to these beautiful birds.
The male was breathtaking in his beauty of both form and colour.
Allow me this one indulgence of a lot of images.
I do not know when, if ever I will experience the like again!
